Charles Holt

Charles Holt is an actor, songwriter, inspirational speaker, producer, recording artist, entrepreneur, and author. He has starred in some of the most celebrated productions in American theatre. He has been a featured performer in the Broadway runs of Smokey Joe’s Café, Jesus Christ Superstar, and The Lion King. He has guest starred in television and film roles including Law & Order: Criminal Intent, All My Children, the award-winning independent film, Anne B. Real, and thought-provoking comedy, Ed’s Trip.

Charles has received national acclaim and rave reviews for his 20-character portrayal in the one-man play Black Boy based on Richard Wright’s autobiographical landmark, as well as The Smoke King, a one-man play based on the life of civil rights activist W.E.B. Du Bois. After releasing Charles’ debut album project, I Am, Agape Media International is set to release Holt’s highly anticipated sophomore album project, “Rushing Over Me” in September 2010. During the 2010-2011 theatrical season, Charles will be presenting the premier season of Never Fight A Shark In Water - a powerful one-man performance of a convicted, innocent man. The Voice That Matters, Charles’ new book, will be published in 2011.
